WiSE MiNDS project operates on core values of kindness and inclusion. Our workshops focus on building individual and group capacity in friendship and interpersonal skills that build compassion, confidence, empathy and inclusion. At WiSE MiNDS project we harness and grow your child's ability to relate to the world and others (outside of social media!) through skills that focus on self awareness, and how to be more aware of others reactions. WiSE MiNDS workshops aim to grow friendly, kind minded kids.
A wise mind is a calm, reasonable state of mind. It is a conscious balance between logical reasoning and emotional reasoning. Wise decision-making is a core skill introduced in each WiSE MiNDS project workshop.
We all have thinking styles, some helpful and others that are, well not so helpful! At WiSE MiNDS project, we teach your child how to recognise their own thinking styles, how to channel helpful ones, and how to challenge unhelpful ones. Psychologists have long known that thinking styles are critical in mood management, which is why each WiSE MiNDS workshop includes helpful thinking styles as a core skill.
